Ubuntu Membership – https://ubuntu.com/community/membership

After three months, my certificate of Ubuntu membership finally arrived in the mail. Looks like I’m official now! This means I’ve got access to several membership perks, including:

  • An @ubuntu.com email alias that forwards to my real email address.
  • An ubuntu/member/your_nick cloak on Libera.Chat.
  • Syndication on Planet Ubuntu of my Ubuntu blog.
  • An Ubuntu Member title at the Ubuntu Forums.
  • SFTP access to a Web-accessible directory on people.ubuntu.com
  • A certificate signed by Canonical CEO and sabdfl, Mark Shuttleworth (see above).

I’m going to love this.
